Root seems like hes on the money though, saying that you only get a trial period on laptops. I'd try Open Office, and see how that fairs, until you can buy Office properly

it was just a gues that it was a sony laptop based on a whole bunch of sony laptops that I ust assumed had a full version no and gave out to people... then they brought them back asking for the full thing...
