Pc doesn't see Slave DVD-ROM Drive

My new homebuilt doesn't see the slave dvd-rom and floppy drives. Checked everything , replaced IDE cable. The DVD +- R/RW drive in the Master position works okay. Any suggestions.

Switch your slave into your master to make sure it works. If it don't you could have a bad CD-ROM.

Also you can go into Devise Manager and un-install it, then the next time you boot up...it should load the correct driver's for it to work.

Looks like a bad drive, the jumpers are set right on everything arnet they?
