I have a Pentium 3 (933Mhz), 128 MB of RAM, 20 GB hard drive, Windows 2000 Professional, IBM 6648MAU.
This computer is reasonably quick but yesterday I bought and installed a 256 MB RAM stick to add to it. I am connected by cable. I have on my computer both Belarc Advisor and Everest Home Edition and neither one confirms the additional memory. It seems to be faster but I don't know. Is it possible that for some reason that those programs don't detect them or would it be that the motherboard is not modern enough. Any help would be appreciated.
