AMD would like to transition all their CPU to Socket AM2 by the 2nd half of this year, including budget processors.

It doesn't matter, the good thing is, people are aware of the new technologies AMD is putting out. Gives peopel who want to buy new computer parts a reason to hold onto their cash and not blow it on potentially obsolete products. If anything, we're saving people money, and money is good!
