sata power

on a sata hard drive there is the regular power cord, and the sata cord, and the sata power... should you have all of them plugged in, or only one power cord at a time?

Only one. Never use two at the same time. I'm using the molex 4-pin.

whats the molex? the one that the cd'roms take and stuff?... i used 2 for the longest time until someone finaly told me HAHA

Yeah, the regular power connectors used for hard drives, DVD burners, etc. You only need one source of power for the SATA. I still remember reading on the instructions manual awhile back about using one or the other, and not both. Risk hard drive failure.
