PFFT halo... might as well just get xbox + halo.. it's a lot cheaper than purchasing a computer to play that on max.

HOWEVER, if you still wanna get pc..
you should get at least 2.5 ghz, 512 ram, 9600 pro. to say the LEAST!...

but if ur gonna spend moeny on a system.. i would suggest getting slightly better than that..

Why get a 9600PRO that cost more then the 7300GS? Plus, the 7300GS is much better, and cheaper!

Well, for the price the 7300GS is hard to beat. I mean, Shader Model 3.0 support, 512MB GDDR3 (yes I know it says 256MB but if you have 1 gig of system memory it enables 512MB), the card is just nice for only $75.

I'm not sure what you're saying. But an AMD Athlon 64 3400+ w/ 1 Gigabyte of RAM, is a great PC.

Wow... this is turning from a budget PC to a gaming PC

Yeah, but the 3400 was the same as a 3.0 intel pentium 4, so I chose that. 1 GB is good enough.

if you want an absolute BUDGET PC. Then get a Sempro 2800+, ECS Socket 939 motherboard. 40GB ATA hard drive, and a 7300GS, along with 512MB DDR RAM.
