how can i get rid of the virus alert popup

hi imjust wondering how i can get rid of the virus alert popup i scanned my comp using norton anti virus 2005 but no virus' came up just lots of spyware/adaware also i have been using ad aware spybot search and destroy and microsoftanti spyware 2 try to get rid of it all does anyone reccommend anyother spyware adaware removal programs also how can i get rid of the virus alert msg.

Spybot does the trick! Only have to actually run it about 3 times. Then immunize the system. And your good to go!

i have ran spybot but for some reason it doesnt let me tick the box that says enable permant blocking of bad addresses in internet explorer
