why cant i get a higher overclock?

Well I cannot get mine to 3 GHz. Tried everything. I'm just going to stick with 2.8 GHz (I'm not exactly complaining! ).

The link at the top of the 3200 Oc'd to 2.8ghz, why is the Voltage only at 1.3 arent you suppose to crank more into it to keep it stable. My 3400 isnt OC'd its at 2.4 ghz and it has 1.5 volts going into it..SO why is it that the 3200 is OC'd and it only has 1.3 Volts...Is it due to different processor or he just doesnt need that much

My 3400 may be old , but its holding up i want to OC soon but im going to buy a new heat sink before i do that...

Not all processors overclock the same. I can only get my 3700+ to 2.7ghz stable. Well look at this link

Can someone give me a direct answer why I can't get any higher? Does it have anything to do with stepping? I have a CABJE.
