TCW2, how do i get unbuntu to run, did not see a distro that had embedded in it...
It is fine to boot linux and still have windows on the hard drive. Live cd's just use ram to store the OS while u run it off the cd. They are very safe.

You have to download qemu itself then copy the iso image of the live cd of Ubuntu described in the link.
