X800GTO2, it will outperform any 6800GS with a slight non physical mod.

If you're lucky enough to get the R480 core on that X800 GTO2 and unlock it's pipes then overclock it to X850 XT PE speeds, then yes it'll own the 6800 GS. If you don't, then too bad because the 6800 GS is pretty damn good. Oh the good thing about the 6800 GS is that it supports all the latest technologies like Shader Model 3.0 etc.

Well if you don't get the R480 core, it won't be crap. It's still a nice card, but you just won't be able to get as much bang for your buck compared to you actually getting the R480 core.

All PCI-Express x800GTO2 that ive seen have unlocked 100%. If its unlocked, the equivalent would be a 7800GS.
