Fear, Half life 2

hell, my 6600le plays CS:S no problem

It can play Quake 4 on medium settings at 1024x768 silky smooth (well, it never dips below 25fps, so not quite silky smooth but far from unplayable)

oh wow sounds good... i like hearing everyones opinions before I build another pc

thanks :)

6600? pfft.
I play on a GeForce 4 Ti 4200, which is inferrior to the 6600 by a long shot, and the game runs perfectly fine.

Joe go for a 6800 GS that will be future proff it can handle the new games flawlessly and its really not expensive here is a link

The 6200 and 6600 series can run HL-2 on full dont know how they do it but i think Source Engine owns it doesent demand a lot and it gives candy eye graphics but FEAR will run on low or med with the 6200. Thats my advice go with the 6800 GS just put a little more cash :)

Select a game in the drop down menu top right of the screen then you need to hit the ""Can you run it?" button a few times.

You'll end up with a graph like shown below, and a whole list of your specs and whats required

(Mine for FEAR)

All you need for CS:S to play good is an x300
Yeah CS:S dosent demand much that why i like source engine a lot but FEAR in the other hand needs a powerfull GPU
