Ive got my SATA HDD plugged into the power, ive got it connected to the SATA port on my mobo, but when I turn on my comp, it doesnt recognize it, even if I go into Bios, Ive got the SATA Raid Drivers installed. Ive also double chekced the wires, and looked at a visiual diagram, and everything is correct. What should I do? the HD is a WD drive i dont remember the HD im to lazy to open my comp right now

You've also checked the jumpers? I would say check Disk Management, but you say you can't see the HD in BIOS. If the drive is on cable select, try switching it around to Master- see if that will solve the issue, or visa versa.

SATA drives do not have jumpers

Damn, you're right- sorry:eek:. IDE on the brain I guess.....
Can you feel the HD spinning? Try another power connector. Are you using one or both power adapters? I know most come with a SATA power connector and a molex connector:)
