what do you think of the new Macbook pro compared to the Powerbook G4?

I think its a mashine! lol (well literly it is) but its a beast. Look at this table and how much it outplays the Powerbook G4.

The G4 has been outpowered for a long time. The macbook pro is extreme.

I was never really impressed with the G5 either

the G5 is good but the Macbook Pro is better, you will only notice a little bit of difference in performace with the G5 compared to the Macbook Pro.

Actually you will notice a HUGE differance. Have you seen the iMacs with the 2Ghz Duo? just booting up is 1min faster FSB went up RAM is better GPU is better everything is better. There is a huge differance.
