I am going to buy a 256mb graphics card, probably a 6600gt because I don't want to spend a fortune, but I read you need a 350w PSU to use it. I checked my PSU and it says maximum : 340w. Is there any way I would be able to use the card?
You should be fine. 10W won't kill it. Just don't run your comp for a long period of time, oh, say more than a few hours at a time. Frequently running a psu near 90% shortens its life. But you shouldn't run that close to the psu limit. You should be fine.
