im trying to save $$ but im also trying to build a nice pc for some games

Video card
Processor
1gb Ram

I have cd drives from another computer and a harddrive like 150gb i was thinking nothing special for the case its wats on the inside that matters
what do you think?

Looks good although I would go with this for memory instead. That way you are taking advantage of dual channel which will give you better performance.

The 6600gt isnt a bad card but you could spend a little more and get a 6800gs. I have heard of people unlocking 4 pixel pipelines and 1 vertex shader making it the same as a 6800ultra

For that price, you could get an ATI X1600, a very nice card.

The video card is the wrong type to get. That MSI board (I love that one by the way) supports PCI-express only. That video card is an AGP model. Get a 6600GT but make sure that it's PCI-express. Everything else looks pretty good.
