Creative Zen Micro won't work!!!

Hi, when I connect my Zen Micro to my PC in either removable disk mode or normal mode , the computer displays a "USB device not recognized" message. I have tried it on another computer with an identical version of Windows XP and it works fine, i'm running Windows XP Pro SP2 and have installed all the necessary drivers for the device. help!!

Try a different USB port.

Thanx, works fine now! Why do you reckon everytthing else works on that port though???

I don't know. That happened to me once, though. They may not be USB 2.0 enabled ports maybe? I really don't know though.

Try downloading the USB 2.0 Drivers for your motherboard from your motherboard manufacturer's site.

some times usb is weird like that, I installed my webcam on my computer and I can't plug it into any other usb plug in except for the one I had it pluged into when I installed it.

it's kinda weird.

usb ports have a bad habit of acting up but at least it works now
