What should I install?

I don't have very much knowledge about Linux and would really like to learn. Anyways, I have an old P3 with 128mb RAM, 80gb HD and onboard sound and video, i think (this isnt my only computer, lol).

I would like to know what version of Linux would work the best on this computer. It currently has Windows 98 on it and it seems to run fine. So I am going to completely get rid of 98 and format the HD and start fresh with Linux.

I am just unsure of what will run the best (and fastest). I will probably only be using it for IMing and surfing the net.

Any version of Linux will run well on that machine. It has been said that Ubuntu is the easiest to learn, so I would start with that. I would have to agree that it's pretty easy to learn. I've used Red Hat, Mandrake, Lebra Net, and now Ubuntu, and it is the easiest so far.....
