Task Manager Priority Setting.. Why wont it work right? :PLEASE HELP:

Yeah, Im playing guildwars, and, I set it to high priority. But it changes to low, im like WTF?! And now it just wont change back. So my game is all laggy, and just overall unplayable. Do you guys have any idea what-so-ever.

And yeah, I did a complete reinstall.

Undo it by resetting the Task Manager Priority setting? Or you can try and use WinTasks.

Hmmm, how do you know that task manager changes it to low settings? Does it say?

No, I changed it to high one time, and then each time I change it back.. its just kinda like.. Nah id rather be set at low. And it does what it wants, lol..

Did you try reinstalling, that might help

To me, putting the game to high will instantly freese the rest. Making it not available to use after gaming. Task manager probably resets it to low settings to prevent it

try setting it to realtime...that sounds like an option that monitors it on its own..cheers
