quiet chipset fan

i was gettin all the air out of my watercooling today and i noticed that my chipset fan is quite a bit louder than when i first got it so i want to buy a new quiet one, any suggestions? oh and it has to be pretty flat since it goes slightly under my vid card

actually nvm i just unplugged it and it works fine without it on lol

removed the chipset fan and put some AS5 or ASC on it. That will help temps a lot.

I saw this thing where people take an old OEM hsf and use it for their chipset. They take off the fan and then cut off part the heatsink. It was actually working a lot better then the stock one. I will see if I can find a link.

nah its ok, this isnt the stock fan i replaced that agessss ago since the thing died in about a week so i replaced it with the one i have now but since its at about 5000rpm they wear out pretty quick so i just unplugged it and the temps are fine so im just gona leave it like that
