The 6800 GS is pretty good. It's about the performance range of the 6800 GT, but cheaper. The 7800 GS is ranged a bit higher than the 6800 Ultra. It really depends on your needs and budget.

get a 6800gs and a $100 water cooling kit. or a better heatsink. cuz you could get 2 really good heatsinks (one for cpu one for gpu) for under 100.

remember that you also need tubing, a pump, radiator, and clamps. It adds up fast. If you are really going to spend only $100 on water cooling, might as well go highend air.

but how do you know the blocks are good? IMO that thing will be on par with a TT Big Typhoon or a Scythe ninja.

It has to be all copper if the radiator is copper or it will corrode. When water cooling, mixing metals is not good. But seriously, the TT Bigwater isnt that great. People have reported cracking and leaking on the TT Bigwater. I would just go highend air and save some money.
