Right well.

The PC started running slow and took about 10 minutes to start up and when I tried to start any applications the system crashed, so I decided to replace some of the parts. Now each time I try to install windows a message appears as I get to the first partion page and it read the HDD as 130GB when it should be 160GB!!!

This is the message that appears:
STOP: 0x0000000A (0xF000E819, 0X000000002, 0X00000000, 0X807C97D5)

The Parts I Have Replaced:
New WinFast Motherboard
New 160GB Maxtor HDD
New RAM

I have tried running the system with each component left out and tried running it bare but I still get the same message appear.

Processer: XP1800 Athlon running at 55C
Everything else appears to be running OK (voltages etc etc)

Thanx for any help
Dom

It is probably another piece of hardware/software that is having conflicts with what you're putting in. I'm sure you've already looked at this?
If that doesn't help some troubleshooting, post back, and we'll see what we can do.
