Ok, I wanted to make a thread, because this past semester, as well as the past two years basically, I've been wondering, "What is essentially, the best government to have, that encorporates equality for the people, and the government, and that establishes health care and education for all of its citizens?"
So, in my American Studies/World Studies/Modern America and as well as reading and History Channel watching, I came to the conclusion that Communism, ideally, is the best government to have if you want equality. Now, I know this may seem wrong, bad, evil, and so forth, but, I want to share my views on this style of government.
But for starters, I want to say that this is not a Demo/Repup/Liberal/Independent or anythign liek that sort of thread. This is just an outlook on a way a country or nation could work in order to prevent and create a lot of good things. So, here we go!
Communism is a good government to have, because it allows equality for all of the citizens and government officials alike. Everyone gets the same pay, or same pay within reason. As well as everyone gets a home appointed by the governemtn, so no one goes homeless, unless for some other reason. Also, eveyone gets health care.
If everyone gets equal pay, or equal pay within reason, then this prevents the discrimination of classes, such as poor, wealthy, rich, and so forth. This is good because it puts everyone on good playing field. It's kind of liek the Dress system with schools. How everyone wears a dress, as opossed to people who don't have that and are allowed to wear whatever they so please. You more often then not get more discrimination and name calling in the school that is allowing the free dressing, as oppossed to the school who makes all the students use the same style of clothes.
Also, everyone gets education. Take Cuba for example. They have a higher, and better, education system then the United Sates. Because everyone attends school, they all learn the same things. As opossed to the U.S who divides it's teaching up into many different areas. This is a good basis for communism, it incorporates everyone to do the same things, yet achieve significant results!
Not to mention, eveyone gets homes. Everyone is given a house by the government. So no one goes homeless. Everyone gets a house, and doesn't have to pay for the bills, thus making your gross earning higher, so you can spend more on things that you want. Unliek in the United States, where there is a large amount of diversity in it's homes. Ranging frmo the extemly poor, to the moderate wealthy, to the extremly rich and powerful. Communism makes it so that everyone gets the same. Which in some areas is good, while in others it is bad.
The reason communism fails so baddly in today's world is that the government controls the money. The problem with this is that people are greedy. If your a political official, and a lot of money is coming to you, more often then not you'll take most of it, and give less back to the people. Also, if you are appointed a bad leader who is communist, he is in control of the government, and since he's in control, he can direct where cash goes to and from. Mainly to himself and then to his people, from which he gets the money.
Which is why communism is so frowned upon. Is because it's been dealt a lot of bad leaders, with the exception to very few, such would be Lenin and China's current leader. China is currently one of the fastest, if not the fastest, growing economies in the world! But back onto the subject...Communism, essentially, is the ideal government, if you want your people to be non-diverse and treat each other equally. Your neighbor is no greater then you are, neither is an actor, for you all generally get the same pay, and you all generally get the same type of house.
So, if anyone wants to add, argue, or anythgin on my view points, it is very much welcome. Just try not to turn this into a flame war. Also, yes, we do realise Joeseph Stalin was a bad leader, so try not to use that as your argument to why communism is bad, because every nation has had a bad leader.
