Computer starting up really slow need help

Hi the last few days my computer has been talking really long to start up, I have run Anti virus, spyware, and went to msconfig and stoped all the startups and it still takes like 3 min to start up.

Might be you hard drive...run defrag...and also if u have junk that you dont need delete it..the cleaner the Hd the better it will perform.
 
Run defrag, chkdsk, and uninstall any big programs that you never use.. It may also be the aol <-->AOL = SLOWWWW<--> Theres a few more reasons.. try googling it.
 
I just had this problem, and i fixed it by defragin' the drive, and clearing up useless programs and other data.
 
take out Norton.

For me when i had Norton installed it took my computer about 3-4min to start up. Not that i uninstalled Norton and installed Avist my computer starts up in about i about 40sec
