importing cds in itunes

should this use a full load? whenever i import a disc, it uses up 100% cpu according to windows task manager. is this normal? and does it happen with u guys's computers?

btw, i have a athlonXp 2100(?) and
512 mb ram pc2700

I dont use Itunes, but yeah i think that is normal think about it your computer is one reading all the data on the disk and then importing and riping it onto your computer..
