MS Optical Mouse ??

I've looked in MS and can't find the answer.
Does the mouse ever turn off? Mine flashes after a period of time and continues to do so apparently forever, or until the batteries die.
Is this normal or do I have a problem.

I'm not too sure. I think it's just in "power saving mode". I think you might have to turn it off yourself... but then, I don't own one, so this is just based off what I see in stores.

You may have to check the power settings on the mouse. In device manager to see if you can turn it off when not in use for so long.
