You did read the part where I said I get what you're saying right?
That's one thing I don't like about forums that much, because when you try to get your point accross, it can be easily taken the wrong way. Sorry if that came off worng- I'm not trying to put you in a place of defending yourself I did know that if you type in an address while browsing My Computer, it will take you there.
Back to the point..... if he is not able to ping www.whatever.com, and we haven't gotten a reply back to see if he can ping 64.233.161.147 or any other IP address, this is the determining factor, IMO, that will make it a DNS issue, or corrupt IE issue IF ideed he is getting a vailid IP, and his firewall is not blocking anything- which could also be the case.
