Ok, so I am going to build a computer for a currency trader down in Berkely. Here's the catch:

He needs FOUR monitors on ONE computer, all running at the same time.

Is this possible? I know you can do two, but yea, is four possible? Also, is THREE possible?

Please, let me know. Oh yea, should I go P4 or X2?

Yes, 4 is possible. You will need dual video cards, with dual outputs on each. With XP, I believe you can get up to 10 working at the same time. I wouldn't go P4, cause I'm not a P4 fan, IMO.

Dont got for P4 go with either PD (Pentium D) or X2

Then you need either an SLI motherbored (Nvida) OR
A Crossfire Motherbored (ATI)

If he is just counting money you dont need 7800's 6600GTs would work fine if you want to save some money and invest it in the CPU.

In your case a better CPU and RAM seem more importaint then a better Graphics Card.

I personaly recomend a SLI motherbored as i am more a Nvida fan.

Whats the point in four?

Because he wants four, you can run up to ten, ive seen it before in an network admin room.

Having four monitors prob would come in very handy

Personally i think 4 is a little out of hand even 3 is a little much. One way to get the same effect would be to get the 32inch Apple display.

Keep in mind only few graphics cards have enough power to use this monitor.
Also you could use 2x 27inch Apple displays.

Theses two monitors would give ample viewing area.

or u get a 42" plasma or lcd monitor. but thats not waht he wants, chances are he wants to have 4 things open at once so he can look at them and so he needs four monitors

OK guys, he only needs THREE.

And anyways, I need to check with my mom for his email. I'll post what he says he needs and we can figure this out! :)
