CPU, speed eg 2.1Ghz

Bus, eg 533Mhz

RAM, DDR 400, 256MB

Chipset,

Socket 775?

etc...

Stuff like that basically mate.

Then once you have done that then put in the crapy software which I personally never look at. (no offence.)

PC world do that and everyone says wow good Pc, I then go onto the net and take a look at the spec of the motherboard processor etc.... from off the main manufactures and then come back down and say to them that the pc is infact a walking pile of s**t.

hummm, you do have a valid point. We still dont even know the bus on the thing without looking up the mobo.
