Hi. I just purchased at Fry's Corsair Value Select PC4200 2GB 240-PIN DDR2 DIMM RAM (2 X 1GB) 533MHZ for around 120 dollars after rebate (havent shipped rebate yet). It just donned on me that I did not take notice if my motherboard could even support this ram. My motherboard is an EVGA 133-K8-NF41 nForce4 SSI Motherboard. Link is HERE

Will this motherboard be able to support this RAM? I have no idea if such a probeml even exists, but before I send off the rebate (or keep it past Fry's return deadline), I would want to know. If anyone has any idea whatsoever, you would be of much help. Thanks.

Oh... so I am going to need to buy DDR to use for this board? I had no idea what DDR(2) was anyways.

first of all, good choice going to frys
second, the mobo cannot support the ram because the mobo is ddr 400 (pc3200) standard, and the ram is ddr2 (pc 4200)

If you aren't really in the know about computers, you should probably ask others about this sort of thing before buying, should save you quite a few headaches down the road.
