What do you prefer.. Pixle pipelines or Clock speeds?

I got an X800 pro vivo by Asus for £150 from ebay. It is 16 pipes unlocked and runs at 500/580 stable in NFS:Most Wanted, which is very sensitive to overclocking. I ran it at 520/560 which is X800XT speeds but got similar benchmark scores to my current speed + NFS didn't like that clock.

(P.S My posts are appearing at the top of these threads, which is feaking me out).

Well, its pretty straight forwards. But here are my thoughts/qiestions..

First, what do you prefer? Because im looking at this card..

See its got 16 pixle pipelines, but lower core/memory clock then this one..

Thats a differnce of 190mhz core clock, and like... *doesnt look at exact specs* I think almost 400mhz memory clock differnce.


Hence the quesion.. would you take pipelines over speeds, or vice versa?

Also.. What other cards would you reccomend that has BOTH 16pipelines, and high-ish clock speeds.

Im really likeing that third one too. Although.. its kind of out of my price range, because I was thinking.. $150-$180 give or take. But.. Bang for the buck.. and just general quality.. Hell i dont know.. thats why im here.. Lmao.

ide get the x850xt out of those, well in the case of faster clocks and pipelines couldnt u figure it out mathmatically? isnt it one pixel per pipeline per clock? so if the clock is 500mhz and theres 16 pipelines wouldnt it just be 500x16 and thats how many pixels u get a second, maybe im wrong i have no idea lol

But that one.. cost like $210 dollars! I mean DAMN! Im selling a computer for like $160, and then, I have $30 in my wallet.. So i still need at least $30, for the rest, shipping, and tax.

Well, I don't even need it. I mean with my card, i can play any game I wanna. Just there almost all at Low, or med. Infact.. nothing is at high. I just want a REALLY nice card to last for a LONG time

I would get a Sapphire X800GTO2. Make sure it is the PCI-Express version. It is 100% (AFAIK) flashable to X850XTPE.
