Connected PC to TV

hi there, i connected my PC to my 30" plasma TV, everything is connected properly and as far as i know my settings are correct, but the image quality is poor when viewing the desktop, but when i put photos from a digital camera on there the images are as clear as anything. Any ideas?

TV's and monitors are different. TV's use cones instead of pixels, making it look bad for PC's. But, as far as it goes for gaming or pictures, it can be more adapted to it

Playing games on our plasma is really good, but everything else (aprt from movies, pics etc) isant really good

hey guys, cheers for your input my resoloution is right and refresh rate is fine. Im running it on a 30" HD ready TV. but not to worry, just wondered thats all!
