New 24-karat gold CD and DVDs
Have you guys heard about these new CD and DVDs? Memorex plans to release in April a new line of CD-Rs and DVD-Rs called the Pro Gold Archival Media. They're suppose to last up to 300 and 100 years (for DVDs). The disks has a 24-karat gold layer, scratch-resistant coating and improved dye to avoid the bad side effects of ultraviolet light, humidity and heat. Also, Memorex is bought out by Imation in case you're into mergers and all that sort of stuff.
