Direct X error mesages

I recently installed a computer game (Driver 3 to be precise) When I try to run the game I get a error message. I will typ in below. I have tried reinstalling the game several times.

Error
Failed to create Direct X
No Supported Display Adapter Present

Is the a problem with my computer or with the game. I would appreciate any help I could get.

what kind of graphics card do you have? maybe its not be supported. well either way simply re install direct x first thats the easiest to do and theres a good chance it could fix the problem.
