Dowloading programs from jump drive

I transfered some freeware from a friends jumpdrive to mine, but I'm unsure how to take the software from my jumpdrive and install it onto my computer. Any suggestions?

Copy the freeware from your jump drive to your hard drive, and then install it from your hard drive. See if that will work for you

I'm not sure how to do that either. The program appears as a folder. What do I click on to install?

Try going to "My Computer" then find your jump drive location. Once you find your external Jumpdrive, explore the folder. You should be able to execute any .exe or .zip file off of the jumpdrive without moving the files to your actual computer.

you can always do a search of your jumpdrive for exe files then you can probably run then right from the search menu.

in the folder there should most likely be a setup.exe or something around that sort. if there are not a lot of files in that folder. would you mind posting each file name?
