It is true that most of those hired videos (eg. from Video Ezy) carry Copyright codes and that DVD Shrink is a good software to use (considering that the spared graphics is nearly indistinguishable). One condition of using DVD Shrink is to have a good Video Adapter (evidence - it didn't work when I used the in-built graphics adapter on my SiS motherboard). It is probably most commonly used to convert Dual Layer DVDs such that they fit on an ordinary Single Layer DVD.
