Building a new Computer, need help and lots of it

Dude... ok, the ultimate pc: using the parts that you already have...
go fx60 or x2 4800+. I personally would go fx60.
2g's of ram, either corsair xms or ocz gold.
THe hard drives that you have...
dual 256mb 7800gtx's If you seriously have the money, go with the 512mb version... if you really want, and get 1024mb of video ram, more than some people have for just plain old ram, and be a happy camper.
the x-fi pro.
liquid cooling
and, if you decide to go from here, I'll guide you on what to do after that... lol...

OK, here we go!!!

Processor:

RAM:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231032

Case:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811171080

That case comes with a 500W PSU. So you should be good to go. :)

Video Card:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814131004

Or go with two of these:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814143044

Although the 7800GTX 512 is not in stock. So I would go with the X1900XTX as it's a better GPU then the 7800GTX 512. :)

CPU Cooler:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835192008

This cooler can go all the way up to 82.94 cfm! :D

Really in my honest opinion just wait untill AMD's new socket comes out later this year and then buy a kick ass computer. Or just go with decent motherboard, memory, and cpu. But if you want the best right now go with the FX-60.
Here's the memory I would get. Thats the lowest latency memory you can get for 1gb sticks. Lower latency = better

Powersupply
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817151025

Case They have window kits you can buy for these cases if you want a window

Then If you really have the money go with the 512mb gtx. Or just get the 256mb version.

EDIT: Oh and here's the cooler I would get for the processor

Thanks for all the replys.

I was thinking of the Mushkin memory aswell. Seems the one to get.
I think i will definately get the Armor case now. Im not going water cooling (for now, unless heat becomes in issue after i OC)
I am definately getting a X-Fi sound card.
TV tuner cards dont cost much so i will probly throw one in.
Im leaning more to the 512MB card now. Just get one atm and get another later on.
Getting the FX60 for sure.

For CPU cooler its on of these 2

That is exactly what he needs! You can't destory the earth without water cooling. Your processor will burn out before your photon beams charge up!

The hard drives are fine! Don't use 0+1... Use just plaiin Raid 0 to prevent any performance speed bumps. Use your other drives for other data.

Yeah, get some Cosairs XMS 2Gig 2 2 2 4 timing sticks!

You want a killer case? Check this out:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811119103

That is what you want!

You're also gonna need a PSU!
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817103931

You'll be all set!

Think that case costs enough.. Jeez. I dont think he needs to dump that much money into a case..

I still like the Armor case, a friend has one and it seems to work great, he has modded it a bit ad looks awesome.

I like the PSU Quinton Mcloed showed me. Seems to do everything i need.

The CPU cooler the aish kid showed seems excellent. looks like thats the one im getting

Yeah the armor case is excellent and if you ever do decide to go with watercooling there is plenty of room in the armor case for it. That powersupply is also a good one. What memory are you going with though?
