want a new game

I would like some ideas on a new game to buy, i.e. COD, WOW, etc..

I just upgraded my computer so everything should work on it. Just want opinions on the best game out there.

what kind of game?
For a FPS I'd say FEAR or Bf2. FEAR has an awesome single player, the graphics are the best I've seen. BF2 is a very good multiplayer game, though ATM there is still some bugs. If u are going for a multiplayer game then get BF2, the multiplayer is all the game is about.

If u want an RPG I'd take Guild Wars instead of WoW.

wow is a horrible game. Guild wars is way better. For a cheap game get morrowind it is soooooo good and obilivion is coming out soon!!!!

CS:source is a good one, basically almost any computer can handle it.
Half life 2 perhaps
I heard Civilization IV was good.

Is Battlefield 2 just a multi-player game, or does it have some sort on single-player campaign?

Battlefield 2 was developed around the basis of a large online community much like its predecessor Battlefield 1942 if you've heard of that. Although it does allow you to play the smaller 16 player maps offline in single player mode there is not any sort of storyline or campaign to go along with it.

I would say half life 2, get the one that comes with Counter Strike: Source.
