OK, buy the Asrock Uli Sata-2 Mobo, Its amazing, It has Full AGP 4X/8X and Pci-Express, plus a flexible upgrade so you can upgreade to a AMD AM2 CPU.

3200+ AMD 2.2Ghz 4160.00
ASrock Uli Sata-2 $70.00
Cosair 1gb DDR-400 $83.00
What ever GPU you want but I would go with the
Albratron 6600LEQ - $83.00 - $10.00 Mail in rebate
Case go for anything like in the $40 range, its cheap and good.
Nec DVD-RW $40.00
sound Card: the one on the mobo is fine.

Total;
$160.00 CPU
$ 70.00 Mobo
$ 83.00 GPU
$ 83.00 Ram
$ 40.00 Case
$ 40 DVD-RW

$476 + $40 Shipping =

$516.00

Wow! Thanks a lot, I looked up the parts on that set-up and everything looks good to fit what I need a computer for.

Thanks!

BTW, what's an AMD AM2 CPU?

i think that amd setup necromancer is much better but i think he meant then amd athlon 64bit which is 2GHz and thats a great cpu

No Problem, Plus with PC like that you will be able to game, the 6600LEQ like all Nvidia card can be Oc'ed quite easily, and can be Oc'ed from 300/437 MHz to 400/507 MHz w/o any artifacts. And then Its just as good as the normal 6600 Non-gt that can play many a games at reasonable Frame rates.

Note: Yeah i ment the 2.0 Ghz one

That's a very good case, but I hate the outer look.

That PS only comes with a 20 pin power connector. What happens if the board I have is 24 pin?

Will that make the PS useless?

You could buy a connector/adapter that changes it from 20 to 24 pin to match your mobo; or, guess ull need to find another case.

I didn't read the specs on that case too closely. My eyes jumps down to the fans because cooling is very critical. Yeah, get another case. It would be better that way. The cases I usually recommend are $100+ but probably too high for you. Great cases around that price though. Thermaltake's got some nice ones for around $75-$80. Check out some of those Aspire cases. They're pretty cheap and decent.
