Ok so your temp monitors seem to be in good shape. Is the hs/f fan dirty?

not really..there not a lot of dust on it preetty clean.

No. Your going to have to take the heatsink off. Clean the CPU with rubbing alcohol, apply the AS5 on the cpu, then put the new hs/f on.

Well, with OCZ value ram, I was able to get it up from 1.8GHz to 2.7GHz and 3.015GHz bios stable. With my new ram (as soon as I buy it lol) I'm going to see how high I can push my cpu. But I'm going to keep it at around 2.4GHz or so.

i was gonna boost my 2.45ghz to 3.0 but now that my comp is over heating im hold off on that one
