Shit. I think once i get my new ram I'll see how far I can overclock it but then just keep it at 2.4GHz or something. That should add a bit more life onto my cpu.

Ok good news, I downclocked it to 2.3GHz and had the voltage at 1.586V. I kept the HT frequency a 4X and kept on lowering the voltage. I'm running stable at 2.3GHz with a voltage of 1.417V!!

its not like one day your processor is going to randomly die. Itll show signs of wear and tear. Running at 1.6V is perfectly fine. Just be sure to burn it in at the voltage.
