its not illegal to unlock a mobile phone to all networks, but thats how some people make there money becuase some phones you have to take to shops to be done.

I always try to unlock my own phone, once i flashed ones memory and broke it, another nokia i did without a problem. It goes ok for me.

With the razr v3, an expensive phone i reccomend paying the $30 to have it unlocked to be on the safe side!

Go to small delaers near u ..in the malll such as wireless point ect..the plp working there have the codes and usaully are kids wroking and they could care less on whart you are doing tot he phone most of the plp at those small Carts in the malls might unlock for a small price

I used an internet site, I paid one euro for the code, it was sent straight away and it worked perfectly.

I say screw the guys who make you buy a new phone if you want to change networks, I use the same mobile for 4 years, I don't need to buy a new one so why should I miss out on saving money with new sims?
