question on bluetooth

ok, so i have found a bluetooth router that will route a dial up signal.
the laptop which i would like to go wireless on is not bluetooth enabled.
my question is this, if i buy a bluetooth dongle and plug it into the usb port on the laptop, will it work with the router?
