What i was thinking of upgrading was

Asus Nvidia 6600N 256 MB GFX - Upgraded to - EVGA Nvidia 7800GT, 256 MB ($ 399.99 CDN)

I Dont need more then 1 GiG Ram Right?.

Sounds good. I would get another gig of RAM. Helps quite alot in the newer games like FEAR. How much you willing to sell that 3500 for?

i would wait and upgrade, with the new socket am2 coming out you'd want to make the full switch over then,
and in case you really really need to upgrade id get the 3800 x2, and overclock it (ive read and seen it oc'ed to 2.5 ghz) you'd save $167 with that, and id add that to your video card fund and get a

id sell it for like 200 $ CDN, its brand new and hasnt ever been overclocked. I live in canada bc btw.

its going to be amds new socket...u know how theres 754 and 939 right now? well the new ones going to be 1000 and somethin, dont remember exactly but its gona support ddr2, should be pretty sweet
