Clients cannot browse but can ping any remote IP

good idea...but he said he can ping on 5 computers, but not ping domain...If it were just a glitch i really dont think there would be the same glitch in 5 computers...tell me if that made no sense..lol

So I ended up replacing the router. No issues now. Thank you guys for your help. I defaulted the old before replacing it and there was no change. So I guess it had to be a hardware problem. Anyway, thanks again.

if you can ping IP but not domain name it is definatley a dns issue... im pretty sure there is nothing wrong with your original router..

did you have a static dns address in your router? if so if you would just reset the router to its factory defaults it may have worked

I did default the router. I mentioned it in my above post. Anyway, problem solved. Thanks again for all your help.
