Can I upgrade my Processor?

2.8 GHz is more then enough power. I have that much, and it's FAST. So yes, go with 2.8GHz, you'll notice a good difference from a 1.4GHz.

Also, you may want to consider getting a better graphics card. Such as a GeForce 6200. It's a good card and performs well. I don't know if you're a gamer or not, but if you aren't then that's a good card. If you are, then get something better, such as a 6600GT.

You're also using AGP, so don't buy a PCI-Express card!!!

Yeah I'm not a big gamer. Mostly digital photos, adobe photoshop, music and the Internet. I did buy a better Graphics card than what I have now just so I could have the DVI hook up to go on my plasma TV.

My Motherboard is a Intel D845EBT. I'm thinking I may want to upgrade that as well. Intel sites says my motherboard can hold up to 2G of DDR Ram. That's alot! I have 768 now and its pretty damn fast. Oh well, guess we'll have to wait in see. Everything should be in by Thursday.
