Uh, the file is an ISO. You need a CD Burning program to burn it to a CD. Then you can use it.

so do i burn it as a data disc on nero as it is?

should i make a back-up disk(or is it boot disc) just incase it goes wrong?

Yup. Go to StartSmart and Burn Image to Disc under Backup.

ok, i have nero express, i go to data and then bootable data disc?

and if i just but the XP light on a data disc as it is and then just put it in when i start the pc?

You have to Burn Image to Disc...

Yeah, you would put XP Lite on a disc and boot it up. If you wanted to install it over everything, though, you would have to set the CD-ROM as the first thing to boot in your BIOS.

ok thanks oh i forgot do i have to press anything to boot it up and can i uninstall it if i wanted to and one more thing i promise, there is no keys and serials to put in is there?

To boot BIOS, you need to press DEL.

You should be able to format the partition you install it to. Thus, I would recommend creating a partition and installing it to that.

Uh, you need a program that can burn ISO's. You don't make a bootable disc.

well i did it, got it and put it on, its really good, i put it on a windows98 pc with 3.21GB mem and 96MB ram, and it seems to work alot faster now! than it did with windows 98
