Windows Accounts going crazy

I posted this on the Security/Hacking Thread because I think it might have to do with some spyware I got some days ago. But here it goes:

Suddenly my Windows XP is unable to open 2 user accounts at the same time, before I could switch between two or more accounts, now I have to log off the one I am in to be able to log on to the other one. I really need to solve this problem, thanks in advance for your help

Sounds like Fast User Switching magically disabled itself. If you press Ctrl-Alt-Del, you'll probably see something like this: (not my screenshot, Windows won't let me do that)

You need to go to Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Change the way users log on or off

Then check the box marked "Use Fast User Switching" - make sure the Welcome Screen is enabled, otherwise you can't do it. Hit Apply Options, and you should be all set.

they are both enabled, the problem does not come from there then :S

ye, that's where I went and they are both on. I t still doesn't work even though they are on.
