Yeah, I was worried about that for some time too, I have a 7800 GTX and on idle its about 50 degrees C when OCed. I found out it's relatively hard for you to overheat them; recently found out that mine has a threshold of 115 degrees C before it is in real danger of being damaged from severe overheating.

I have a 7800 GTX as well and its running at 46 degrees at idle and i havnt OC'ed yet. 50 is perfectly fine. and chaospsycogame how has your video card beeen 2 u?
