New Sound Card?

Hey, I just bought a new computer and it has one of those sound cards that's integrated into the motherboard (not sure if that's how you're supposed to say it) and it can't even support my 5.1 speakers, so I'm buying a new sound card. I was thinking about getting this one; just wanted some feedback on that if possible, all the reviews I've read about it on the site seem to be excellent. I was also wondering how hard it would be for someone who doesn't know that much about installing that stuff to put a sound card into the case, and install it. Thanks in advance.

It's a great card. Installation should be relatively simple. You open up your PC's side panel, and place the card into a PCI slot. You might have to remove the metal thing at the back end of the case first.

Then, hook up the cables from your 5.1 speakers to the new audio ports at the back of your case, and install drivers.

Yeah, the X-Fi is pretty nice. :D It'll help your CPU out when it comes to performing audio tasks.
