ok here are my 2 comps:

Comp 1
Asus P5AD2 Deluxe ( mobo )
Intel pentium 4 3.00ghz (dual proccessers)
Stealth PSU 420watts

Comp 2

Msi 845E (mobo)
Intel Pentium 2.40ghz
400watts Psu

On comp 1 my Cpu temp is 86degrees celsius and the cpu temp on comp2 is 51 degrees celsius. which one of these are normal? and comp1 is the one that i overclocked and i dont no how to underclock it back to its original and the one thats really slow.

both are too hot.
And if u are reading the correct temps then I am surprised that ur comp one's cpu isn't fried.
The cpu temps are should something like less than 45C idle and less than 55C under load.

reseat both fans. Most problems with overheating is the fan that is malseated

86 degrees?

Man, I heard Intel's dual cores run hot but that's insane!

damm man i give up.... my computer is screwed so damm bad... im just gonna take it to a shop... and get some guy to fiddle with it pay him some money and get it done...

if it is because of over-clocking you do realise you can't claim on your warrenty right?

yea i no i cant claim it on my warranty... that sux

ok but

on comp 1: my FSB is at 800mhz

on comp2: my FSB is 133mhz

ummm and on comp1 it wont let me adjust it i cant change it...

so it's still running while over-clocked?

I'm pretty sure every motherboard has a BIOS reset switch somewhere on it. try that.

yea its running it'll occasinally crash but yea...

and what shud i do shud i try and lower my FBS ? and by how much
